Join our team as an HVAC Mechanic, where you'll play a vital role in installing, maintaining, and repairing the systems that keep our facilities safe, comfortable, and running at peak performance.You'll work with a supportive team, use your technical abilities to solve complex problems, and have opportunities to grow your career in a stable, high-demand industry.What You'll DoInstall, service, and repair a wide range of HVAC systemsincluding electric, electronic, pneumatic, and direct digital controlsin office and commercial environments.Use your understanding of refrigeration theory, pipefitting, and mechanical design to ensure high-quality installations.Mount compressors, condensers, and system components using blueprints and engineering specifications.Fabricate and install ductwork and structural components using cutting-edge metalworking tools and welding equipment.Install evaporator units, medical refrigeration systems, air-duct components, and other cooling/heating units.Cut, bend, and join tubing and piping; solder, braze, and assemble refrigerant circuits safely and accurately.Connect and test motors, compressors, temperature/humidity controls, fans, and electrical panels.Conduct nitrogen pressure tests, verify leak-free systems, and prepare units for refrigerant charging.Evaluate performance using pressure/vacuum gauges and make adjustments for optimized operation.Install insulation, replace defective electrical components, and troubleshoot system issues.Service air conditioners, package units, and commercial chillers up to 400 tons.Deliver excellent customer service while performing warranty, repair, and preventive maintenance tasks.Who We're Looking ForYou'll be a great fit for this role if you are:A skilled HVAC professional who takes pride in quality workmanshipA problem-solver who enjoys diagnosing and fixing complex mechanical/electrical issuesSomeone who values safety, teamwork, and doing the job right the first timeA self-starter who can work independently and support teammates when neededRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED4+ years of HVAC trade experienceEPA Universal Certification23 years of experience in a healthcare facility or highly regulated environment preferredValid driver's license with an insurable recordAbility to read, write, and communicate in EnglishAbility to pass a drug screen and background checkAble to obtain NACI clearance as requiredAll licenses/certifications required by state, federal, or contract regulationsPhysical RequirementsThis is a hands-on, active role.
