Join the Chick-fil-A Gibson Boulevard family as a Kitchen Opener starting at $15/hour As one of the first member of our kitchen crew on deck each morning, you play a crucial role in setting the pace and ensuring that our kitchen operations start smoothly. From prepping ingredients to ensuring our tools and stations are set up efficiently, you will help ensure that our team can meet the demands of the day with excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is turned on, clean, and ready for the day's service.
  • Prep essential ingredients for the breakfast and lunch rush.
  • Set up kitchen stations for optimal flow throughout the day.
  • Coordinate with management and other team members to ensure a smooth transition from opening procedures to regular kitchen operations.
  • Maintain Chick-fil-A's high standards of quality, cleanliness, and food safety.
  • Contribute to team efforts in delivering impeccable customer service and meeting operational goals.
Job Requirements:
  • Must be available to start at 5 am.
  • Previous kitchen or food service experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be a quick learner and adapt well to fast-paced environments.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Part-time and full-time positions available.

Requirements
  • Must be at least 16 years of age upon hire date
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must have a source of reliable transportation
  • Ability to handle all equipment, pans, pots, navigating shelving both high and low
  • Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills required
  • Works in hot, noisy and fast paced environment
  • Mobility required during shifts
  • Must work well under pressure
  • Must be able to respond to changes or edits to orders quickly and efficiently
