Position: Nursing Unit Clerk - Full Time Shift: Monday - Friday

Requirements:

Must have strong skills in Microsoft Office Some healthcare experience preferred Must be organized and have superior communication skills Must be flexible, caring, compassionate, and be a team player

Nursing Service Responsibilities:

Maintains a positive and friendly attitude while assisting families, patients, and partners who approach the area needing assistance. Answer the telephone and relay messages. Electronic Health Record documentation as indicated, including but not limited to order entry and vital signs. Maintain a schedule of patients' appointments and transportation, assisting with arrangements as needed. Processing of laboratory, x-ray and/or special tests and see that reports are received. Maintain the inventory of paper and desk supplies. Ensures scanning of appropriate documents upon discharge of the patient.
