**Job Title: EVS Aide - Laguna Beach**

**Job Summary:** The Hospital Environmental Services (EVS) Aide Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the hospital. This role is crucial in ensuring the health and safety of patients, staff, and visitors by adhering to strict cleaning protocols and infection control standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Perform routine cleaning and disinfecting of patient rooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas.

+ Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.

+ Dispose of waste, including biohazardous materials, in accordance with hospital policies and regulations.

+ Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in restrooms and other areas.

+ Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and carpet cleaners.

+ Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the EVS Supervisor.

+ Assist in setting up and breaking down rooms for meetings and events.

+ Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures.

+ Provide excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors.

**Working Conditions:**

+ Exposure to cleaning chemicals and biohazardous materials.

+ Physical demands include lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.

+ Must be open to working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
