Job Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Join our team as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with Autism/PDD. As a BCBA, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing behavioral intervention programs, working closely with classroom staff, families, and other clinical and administrative team members.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assess student progress and develop individualized behavior support plans and skill acquisition programs.
  • Collaborate with classroom staff, families, and other team members to ensure effective implementation of behavioral interventions.
  • Train staff on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and provide regular feedback.
  • Participate in the prospective student intake process, including reviewing records, conducting assessments, and observing students.
  • Ensure ethical standards and serve as a model of ethical practice for others.
Physical and Emotional Job Responsibilities:
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, often with moderate to high stress levels.
  • Interact with students, teachers, and school staff on a daily basis.
  • Ability to drive school vehicles and monitor students in the community.
  • Regular contact with parents, community members, and outside agency personnel.
  • Implement crisis management procedures when needed.
Educational Programming:
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate instructional programs.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate behavioral intervention programs.
  • Assist in the development and distribution of progress reports.
  • Review individual students' program data and conduct student and staff observations.
  • Participate in clinics and IEP meetings for students under your supervision.
Instructional Training:
  • Attend pre-service and in-service trainings.
  • Assist and/or conduct assigned pre-service and in-service trainings.
  • Coordinate and participate in training of newly hired instructional personnel.
  • Participate in pre-service and in-service trainings related to families.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Education, or related disciplines.
  • Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
  • Three to five years' experience working with children with Autism/PDD.
  • One year working as a BCBA.
