Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in the school setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing comprehensive speech-language services to students of diverse ages and abilities and will be committed to delivering individualized therapy that supports each student’s unique needs.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ethically and legally defensible CA school based services
  • Conduct appropriate assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
  • Consult and collaborate with Parent/Teacher/IEP Team regarding student’s communication skills
  • Maintain daily therapy logs and data collection
  • Monitor progress and update progress reports
  • Case manage speech-only students
  • Develop IEPs and write goals according to Common Core State Standards
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current California state license or eligibility for license
  • Experience working with school-aged children in a school or clinical setting
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development
  • Fingerprint background clearance
  • Tuberculosis (TB) clearance
  • Two professional references
