Responsibilities Weekly and monthly processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll Bank account and balance‑sheet reconciliations Monthly financials and related analysis Grant tracking and monitoring Cash‑flow projections and monitoring Preparation for outside audits Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance Minimum 3 years of related experience in public accounting and/or industry; 5+ years preferred Outstanding communication skills and positive attitude Knowledge of or interest in learning multiple accounting software packages; QuickBooks experience is a plus Intermediate‑level Excel skills Willingness to travel to client offices as needed when it is safe to do so Nonprofit experience preferred, but not required Customized cover letter explaining interest and qualifications is required What YPTC Offers Work with a mission‑driven purpose serving nonprofit organizations Culture of support, enabling staff to succeed Unlimited opportunities for professional growth Competitive compensation Standard 35‑hour full‑time work week; eligibility for paid overtime for non‑exempt employees For full‑time positions: 4 weeks paid time off (≈100 hours vacation), 9 paid holidays, full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and supplementary options), very generous employer contributions to medical premiums For part‑time positions: pro‑rated vacation and sick time, eligibility for supplementary benefit options 401(k) retirement plan with employer match Ample professional development opportunities and reimbursement Company‑provided laptop and technology stipend Hybrid work environment Starting annual base salary is $60,000 to $80,000 based on a 35‑hour work week for this non‑exempt position.
