About the Role The IT Network Security Engineer is responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, and security of the company’s IT and network systems. This role ensures stable, secure, and efficient operation of network infrastructure, supports IT equipment and end-user devices, and implements proactive cybersecurity measures. The engineer will handle troubleshooting, incident response, and system recovery to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity. Key Responsibilities Network Operations & Maintenance Manage and maintain office network infrastructure, including core switches, firewalls, wireless access systems, and intrusion detection devices. Configure, test, and update network settings and policies in alignment with operational and security requirements. Perform regular system and log backups, equipment checks, and audit-readiness inspections. Diagnose and resolve network issues promptly to ensure continuous connectivity and service stability. Network & System Security Conduct network security monitoring, analyze incidents, and prepare reports on abnormal activities and threats. Implement and maintain security controls such as access management, firewall rules, and patch updates. Support vulnerability remediation, system hardening, and performance optimization initiatives. Develop and maintain network operation plans, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and emergency response documentation. IT Systems & End-User Support Provide technical support for office IT equipment, including laptops, desktops, printers, and related software. Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues related to software, hardware, and system performance. Monitor IT system performance, including servers, databases, and enterprise applications. Conduct system recovery, root‑cause analysis, and preventive maintenance activities. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in IT operations, maintenance, or network administration. CCNA certification required; CCIE or ITIL certification is an advantage. Strong technical knowledge of firewalls, IPS, switches, wireless devices, and common network security tools. Hands‑on experience in Windows/macOS deployment, device troubleshooting, and end‑user technical support. Familiarity with server/database monitoring, fault diagnosis, and performance tuning. Excellent communication and documentation skills for reporting, SOP preparation, and incident summaries. Proficient in written and spoken English for technical communication. Ability to work effectively under pressure and respond promptly to IT or security incidents.
