Description:

We have immediate openings for (4) fulltime Lead Behavior Health Technicians for a 25 bed Diversion Center in Downton Austin.

(4) Full-time open positions.

(2) 7am to 7pm (12hr rotating schedule)
(2) 7pm to 7am (12hr rotating schedule)
PRN (as needed)

Here are a few job duties to expect as a Behavioral Health Tech:

Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents at all times.
Cook and serve meals. Follow the facility menu as posted.
Responsible for completing items listed on the facility Chore Sheet as directed by the administrator.
Responsible for assuring all residents are treated with dignity and respect.
Responsible for the supervision of all resident medication procedures. Ensure that all residents receive their proper medication at the proper time. All narcotics will be counted and documented on each shift.
Daily chart documentation
Be familiar with The Wood Group’s policy and procedures to include employee handbook.

Requirements:

High school diploma/or equivalent required
A valid Texas Driver's license, required.
Experience working with mentally ill clients.
Certifications are not required for this position. CNA experience is preferred
