Bookkeeper

Bookkeeper Position We are looking for a detail-oriented bookkeeper to join our team in Wixom, Michigan. This is a contract to permanent position that requires in-office presence. The ideal candidate will manage essential bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial records and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. Responsibilities: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision and efficiency. Maintain and update the general ledger to ensure financial data is accurate and current. Prepare and post journal entries to support proper financial documentation. Reconcile bank accounts and ensure discrepancies are addressed promptly. Utilize QuickBooks Desktop to manage and organize financial records effectively. Generate financial reports and summaries to assist with decision-making processes. Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards. Monitor and maintain accurate records of transactions, invoices, and payments. Requirements: Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles. Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop software. Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Familiarity with general ledger and journal entry preparation. Ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
