We are actively seeking an Automation Technician I to join our dedicated team of professionals in Cranberry Township, PA. The Automation Technician I will be responsible for control systems programming, troubleshooting, and project design and delivery. Key responsibilities include:Creating and editing automation programming from concept through operational readinessProgramming and integrating complex control systemsConducting hands-on troubleshooting of field control systemProvide technical support in resolving equipment and process issues when necessaryCollaborate and coordinate with other engineering disciplines RequirementsAssociates or Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering Technology or similar program0-2 years' experience in related work. Coursework and familiarity with hardware and software including but not limited to: o Controller Programming such as: Controllogix, CompactLogix, SLC, RSLogix 500/5000, Modicon, GeoSCADA, ProWorx32, etc. o Motor Drive Programming o HMI Programming such as: VT SCADA, Ignition, Aveva, Intellution / Ifix, Panelview, Magellis, Maple Systems, etc.Coursework and familiarity with hard-wired, wireless, and radio networksCoursework and familiarity with instruments is preferredKnowledge of P&IDs, Control and Electrical Drawings, ISA instrument specifications and loop diagrams.Have experience or demonstrated competence in the troubleshooting of Electrical, Mechanical and Instrumentation and the ability to assess with specialized diagnostic test equipment.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and adapt to changes effectivelyUnderstanding of UL standards and codes (508, 698, etc.)Mechanical aptitude and strong communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills to work effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and clients.Experience with water/wastewater facilities is not required, but a plus.Has the flexibility for occasional after-hour client support.Must have a valid U.S. Driver's License to travel to job sites (including overnight trips), meetings, and/or other office(s)Has the legal right to work in the U.S.Life at HRG Are you a creative problem solver who wants to make a difference in people's everyday lives?
