DCM Services is looking for a detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Specialist who wants to grow with a dynamic, multi-state organization. You'll work directly with an experienced Payroll & Benefits Manager who will mentor you as you master the complexities of multi-state payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS systems.This isn't just processing paychecksit's ensuring 550+ employees across multiple states get paid accurately and on time, while supporting their benefits needs and maintaining compliance across multiple jurisdictions. What You'll DoPayroll Operations (70%)Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll for multi-state operations, including salaries, bonuses, benefits deductions, garnishments, and taxesManage payroll updates for new hires, terminations, and pay changes with precision and timelinessEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws across multiple jurisdictionsPrepare payroll reports and support internal and external auditsRespond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and accuracyBenefits Administration (30%)Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and questionsVerify insurance billing and maintain accurate benefits recordsSupport open enrollment processes and benefits communicationProcess benefits changes in the HRIS system for seamless payroll integrationHelp prepare required benefits notices and compliance reporting Requirements: What You BringRequired:2-3 years of payroll administration experienceStrong understanding of payroll fundamentals and wage & hour regulationsProficiency with HRIS platforms (Paylocity experience is a plus)Advanced Excel skills and comfort with the MS Office suiteExceptional attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlinesStrong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain strict confidentialityAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentPreferred:Exposure to multi-state payroll Benefits administration experienceBachelor's degree in Business, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience)Understanding of 401(k), FSA, and other benefit plans Work Location & ArrangementIdeal: Hybrid in Bloomington, MN with 1-2 days per week in officeAlso Considering: Fully remote candidates located in MN, VA, SC, FL, TN, or AZ #DCMHP1 Compensation details: 52000-60000 Yearly SalaryPI7a60b5324b44-31181-39138104
