We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. This is a vital role in our organization, as you will help to ensure the safety and efficiency of our operations.

Duties:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and repairing machinery and equipment

- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, utilizing your knowledge of mechanical systems and logic controllers

- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment

- Collaborate with other team members to identify and address maintenance needs

- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner to minimize disruptions to operations

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)

- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed

- Weld or fabricate parts as necessary

- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role

- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude

- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal

- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues

- Familiarity with electrical systems and ability to read schematics

- Experience using CMMS software preferred

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and other departments

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
