The Strategic Division supports high‑reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE). SPA’s Strategic Development Group (SDG) supports critical U.S. government programs providing Systems Engineering, Systems Safety, and Financial Analysis support. This role is based in the Washington Navy Yard, DC area.Salary range: $100,000 – $130,000.ResponsibilitiesCommunicate daily with the SP23G Section Heads and team leads to ensure priorities are understood.Act as Action Officer on behalf of the SP23G team to track actions across multiple portfolios and ensure they are completed on time.Provide program analysis to identify process improvement areas and implement improvement plans.Work with stakeholders to produce financial, schedule, and other program summaries for branch leadership, highlighting opportunities and concerns.Assist with developing and compiling inputs for presentation slides for meetings and provide quality reviews before submission.Manage Branch Confluence and Jira pages.Coordinate and handle logistics for branch meetings.Qualifications – RequiredAbility to work at Washington Navy Yard.Bachelor’s degree.Active DoD SECRET clearance (TOP SECRET strongly preferred).4+ years of experience supporting Department of Defense acquisition programs, ideally related to SSP or NAVSEA, in a program office capacity.Self‑starter with demonstrated ability to drive prioritization, communication, delegation, and execution of requirements across multiple projects in a team environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing and delivering senior‑leader briefings and providing quality products for executive leadership consumption; proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Project) and Confluence/Jira.Qualifications – DesiredNavy operational experience, ideally related to Navy submarine systems, Strategic Weapon System (SWS) integration, development, or testing efforts.Seniority levelMid‑Senior levelEmployment typeFull‑timeJob functionBusiness Development and SalesIndustriesDefense and Space Manufacturing, Aviation and Aerospace Component Manufacturing, Armed ForcesReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at SPA by 2x. #J-18808-Ljbffr
