Maintenance/Janitorial SupervisorWe currently have an immediate vacancy for a full-time maintenance/janitorial supervisor to oversee operations at the retail center. The ideal candidates should possess strong communication skills and have prior experience as a supervisor in maintenance, janitorial, custodial, or a related field. Key responsibilities include collaborating with customers and vendors, conducting quality control checks, managing scheduling and administrative tasks. Applicants must hold a valid driver's license and be proficient in communication via email, two-way radio, phone calls, and text messages.Benefits IncludeCompetitive pay401(k) planVacationHolidayHealth insurance planDental insuranceVision insuranceWise or Direct depositFlexible Spending optionsKey ResponsibilitiesRespond promptly to emails and phone calls for clear communication with team members and property managers.Oversee a janitorial team requiring leadership, organization, and communication skills.Review and submit timecards on time each week.Order and pick up necessary supplies.Create purchase orders as needed.Ensure the cleanliness of the premises.Paint the parking lot and common areas surrounding the building.Operate a pressure washing machine.Use a leaf blower or handheld blower as required.Clean restrooms, parking lot, and walkways while restocking supplies.Remove and dispose of trash in designated areas.Push trash bins as needed.Stand and walk for extended periods.Utilize a smartphone to upload information online, communicate via email, and respond to phone calls and text messages.Adhere to safety procedures.Report safety concerns or building issues, such as burnt-out light bulbs.Perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor or property manager.ScheduleMonday to Friday: 5am to 2pmOn-call to respond to emergencies as neededCompensation$30.00 per hourSkills/QualificationsMust pass background check.A high school diploma or GED is preferred.Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle.Previous experience as a supervisor, maintenance, janitorial, or custodial roles is required.Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.Strong public relations and communication skills are essential.Applicants should be capable of performing basic manual labor, including:Cleaning common areasPressing, pushing, and pullingFrequently lifting up to 40 lbs.Carrying a minimum of 25 lbs.
