What you'll do The Supply Chain team is a global organization focused primarily on Procurement and Supplier Performance management. We are guided by our mission of delivering exceptional supplier performance and minimizing risk. We span multiple sites in North America, Europe, and Asia, managing approximately $1B in spend for Viasat, and buy everything from common COTS electronic components to integrated satellite subsystems, and from paper to streaming sporting events. And we like to have fun, too The day-to-day As a key member of the Source-to-Pay Team and Business Process Management Center of Excellence, you will work closely with Supply Chain, Finance, IT, Legal, and Business unit functions to develop and implement the process capability and technology roadmap to improve operational excellence and global scale. A successful candidate will bring a wealth of Business Process and Systems experience as well as strategic thought leadership, will quickly understand the specific business needs of Viasat, and possess the influence needed to gain consensus and drive implementation, moving the business forward while positioning it to scale optimally with projected growth in the future. Together, we can make a better tomorrow Develop and own the transformation roadmap for Indirect Procurement processes and related Source-to-Pay functions. Lead the global deployment, training, organizational change, and continuous improvement of indirect procurement processes as Viasat adds capabilities and enters new countries. Collaborate with a versatile and hardworking team of Process Engineers, Business Analysts, Business Systems Analysts, and Software Developers. Stay abreast of industry trends and the competitive landscape relevant to Source-to-Pay capabilities and technologies to keep Viasat at the top tier edge and differentiated from competition. Evaluate opportunities for Data Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, Robotic Process Automation, and Intelligent Process Automation to transform supply chain management. Ensure that project teams are staffed with the right mix of skills, knowledge, and talent to be able to deliver the right velocity of transformation. Ensure day-to-day prioritization is effectively managed and communicated to interested parties and support teams. Become a trusted leader and partner across Viasat, delivering solutions at scale that optimize sophisticated business and technical challenges within a flat organizational framework applying a mix of ERP, SaaS, and in-house developed solutions. Develop, refine, and advise on relevant metrics that demonstrate transformation progress and the associated impact to business performance. What you'll need 8+ years of demonstrated ability in Supply Chain within a high-tech environment Extensive knowledge of operational functions such as Strategic Sourcing, Contract Management, Procurement, Receiving, Financial Accounting, Accounts Payable (AP), and Supplier Management Experience with Ariba Buying & Invoicing (B&I) for Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Specialist in operational excellence and continuous improvement Skilled in business process analysis and management Skilled in Project Management and team leadership Experience with portfolio management and functional technology roadmaps Strong analytical skills to support independent, high velocity, high quality decisions Capable of applying inventive and creative thought processes to resolve sophisticated problems Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities based on workload and direction from management and/or partners in a fast paced, dynamic environment Strong relationship building, teamwork, and communication skills Skilled in articulating value and developing effective reasoning Adept at influencing cross functionally, developing consensus, and moving the business forward Strong skills using standard Microsoft tools such as Power Point, Excel, Word, Visio, SharePoint, and Project Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, IT, or Business; or, comparable business experience in related fields US Citizenship required Ability to travel up to 10% What will help you on the job Preferences Experience with Ariba for Procure-to-Pay (P2P) in a multi-country configuration Experience with Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP) for supplier request, registration, and qualification Experience with Ariba Supplier Risk Management Experience with SAP S/4HANA Experience with Oracle EBS (R12) Experience configuring Punchouts and cXML Orders, Invoices, OCs, and ASNs Experience with SaaS integrations and API capabilities Experience with eSourcing (eRFx) platforms Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms Experience with regulated environments such as ITAR, FAA, etc. MBA or Master’s Degree Lean Six Sigma Certifications Salary range $119,000.00 - $188,500.00 / annually. For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $148,500.00- $222,500.00/ annually At Viasat, we consider many factors when it comes to compensation, including the scope of the position as well as your background and experience.
