Our technology is engineered from the ground up to make our customers’ projects more precise, simple, and efficient than ever before.Join us and become an integral member of our dynamic team, leading the charge in pioneering construction robotics innovationAbout the RoleCiv Robotics’ R&D department is seeking a System Integration Engineer to join the system integration team to tackle hardware and software integration of various subsystems, including microcontrollers (MCUs), sensors, and communication modules. You will collaborate with cross-functional team members to develop, test, and optimize our autonomous systems.Key ResponsibilitiesWork on the integration of hardware and software components for autonomous robotic systems.Develop, configure, and optimize firmware and drivers for MCUs and sensors (IMU, LiDAR, GPS, cameras, etc.).Execute system-level tests to validate hardware/software integration and ensure performance targets are met.Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to sensor fusion, communication, and control systems.Ensure accurate data acquisition, processing, and communication from various sensors and devices.Document integration processes, test plans, and results.RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or related field.Experience: 2+ years in hardware/software integration for robotic or embedded systems.Technical Skills:Basic Linux CLI experienceHands-on experience with sensor integration (IMUs, cameras, LiDARs, GPS).Familiarity with communication protocols: SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet, and wireless.Knowledge of C/C++ and Python.Tools: Proficiency with development tools like Git, JIRA, and hardware debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.Preferred QualificationsExperience in autonomous vehicle development or industrial robotics.Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System)Why Join UsWork on groundbreaking technologies transforming the construction industry.Collaborative, innovative, and dynamic work environment.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Life at Civ RoboticsWork with a great team from diverse backgrounds in a collaborative and supportive environment.Competitive salary based on experience, with full medical, dental, & vision benefits.Stock options in an early-stage startup that’s growing quickly.Very generous, flexible PTO policy – take the time you need to recharge #J-18808-Ljbffr
