Registered Nurse, Long Term Acute Care

Genie Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13 LTAC contract in Oregon, OH.

Shift: 3x12s Days & Nights

Hourly: $53

Duties:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patients' vital signs and medical history
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide patient education on disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care techniques
- Assist with diagnostic procedures such as cardiac catheterization and specimen collection processing
- Administer botulinum toxin treatment and dermal fillers as required
- Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or other cognitive impairments
- Perform laboratory tests and interpret results to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning
- Provide ostomy care and assist patients in managing their stoma

Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in OH
- Minimum 2 years of experience in acute care setting
- Proficient in ICD-10 coding and documentation practices
- Strong knowledge of patient care principles and practices
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
