The Opportunity: The Café Sales Associate is responsible for proper food preparation, following kitchen safety techniques and health standards. The Café Sales Associate prepares food, stocks deli coolers, keeps areas clean, neat and stocked and provides excellent customer service. Responsibilities: Prepare food items such as sandwiches, pizza, cookies, and other menu items specific to the location. Ensure deli coolers are stocked with fresh produce and ingredients for food preparation. Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting environment in the food service areas, including the deli, coffee, bakery, and beverage machine areas as applicable. Deliver high-quality food promptly and courteously, ensuring excellent customer service. Adhere to cooking methods and standards provided by the Deli Manager. Understand and follow work schedules, stocking procedures, and organizational practices. Meet performance goals and complete all assigned duties efficiently and to the company's standards. Requirements: Previous experience in a convenience store, restaurant, or retail environment. A basic knowledge of food safety standards. Must be able to work flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends, and holidays. Incredible customer service skills and the ability to create and maintain a customer focused culture. The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations. Ability to stand for long hours. Humble. Hungry. Smart. Does this sound like you?
