Physician Assistant - Emergency Medicine opening in SCLocated in Georgetown, South CarolinaFull-Time & PermanentSeeking a certified Physician Assistant with at least two years of experience in an Emergency Medicine setting.- SC Licensed- Looking for 3+ years of Emergency Medicine experience as PA. Work with five other APPS in service.- Location Both Murrells Inlet, SC and Georgetown, SC- Georgetown: 35% low acuity trauma level 4-5, peds, rural community; Murrells Inlet: 5-10% low acuity trauma level 4-5, more complex medical cases, L&D alert system and services.- Breaking ground on 3rd hospital in near future and open in 2028 includes full service ER- To fill FTE; had previous provider moved on to a different specialty.- Work schedule Four 9-hour shifts per week; no overnights. Georgetown hospital schedule: 8A-5P or 3P-12A. Waccamaw hospital schedule: 11A-8P. 4 weekend shifts per month.- On Call/Call Backs No.- Full scope. Able to independently manage patient case load.- Experience with using EPIC as EMR, efficient, and good problem-solving skills.- Caseload 2 patients/hr; paid performance for 1.5-2/hr. Paid hourly; bonus paid quarterly.- Diverse growing primary service area; community hospital; busy ER with > 50,000 visits per year; non-trauma centers. 28k visits at GMH; 32k visits at hospital.- Certifications Required BLS, ACLS, PALS; ATLS and NRP can be provided if not currently certified.- DEA Yes, South Carolina; both federal and state. And SC medical license- ICUs with full med/surg services; full imaging, lab services and specialty support; Cath lab services. Hospitalists are Health System employed/25% admit rate overall.- Base comp and hourly overtime and quarterly bonuses- Trauma I goes to hospital in Myrtle Beach and we plan on Trauma IV designation in 2025Location:The facility is a hospital-owned primary care practice in Surfside Beach, Murrells Inlet, Myrtle Beach and Georgetown, SC with established primary care physicians and advanced practitioners (NP and PA). Murrells Inlet is an unincorporated area and census-designated place in Georgetown County, South Carolina, United States. The population was 7,547 at the 2010 census.The fishing village of Murrells Inlet was once the lair of the infamous pirate Blackbeard. Today, its an outdoorsmans dream. No matter your boating preference, there is an experience for every taste. Start your day kayaking at sunrise or head out for a day-long, chartered deep sea fishing excursion. And when visiting what is known as the seafood capital of South Carolina, you know a delicious meal awaits after a fun-filled day. The popular MarshWalk comes alive after dark, with live music streaming from several waterfront establishments that offer spectacular views.
