Position SummaryStony Brook Medicine is recruiting a dynamic Speech Language Pathologist to provide inpatient and outpatient hospital‑based services, collaborating with SLPs, ENTs and other medical specialists in a multidisciplinary setting.ResponsibilitiesSwallowing, voice, and communication evaluations and treatment, including trach and speaking valve management, for inpatient and outpatient pediatric to older adult patients.Objective assessments including stroboscopy and/or videofluoroscopic swallow studies / flexible endoscopic evaluation of swallowing.QualificationsRequired: MA or MS in Speech Language Pathology, NYS license, ASHA CCC‑SLP. Minimum 1 year experience as an SLP in a medical setting (acute care, acute/subacute rehab, SNF/long‑term care, or ENT/outpatient hospital practice).
