Night Fuel Dispatcher
Our client is looking for a Night Fuel Dispatcher to work full time in their West Bridgewater, MA location. You will serve as a communication point for our truck drivers. The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator and must be able to multi-task as well as take appropriate action with little supervision.
Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
  • Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions.
  • Receive and dispatch orders for products or deliveries.
  • Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance.
  • Maintaining records of dispatched calls, driver routes, route changes, as well as delivery and pick-up times.
  • Review driver’s logs, including dispatched calls and arrival times.
  • Monitoring truck repairs and maintenance schedules.
  • Keeping track of transportation regulations and laws to ensure that truck drivers comply.
Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1 year of Transportation Dispatching experience is required. 1 year of Fuel Dispatching experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Transportation Management Software is a plus.
  • Knowledge of applicable transportation regulations and laws.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
