Job specification Candidate requirements Job specification Provide clinical leadership and direction to nursing staff, ensuring effective and compassionate patient care within the unit. Coordinate and oversee daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to maintain a well-functioning unit. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate patient care, ensuring adherence to established protocols and best practices. Serve as a resource and mentor for nursing staff, guiding them on clinical and administrative matters. Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives, focusing on enhancing patient outcomes and meeting healthcare standards. Candidate requirements A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) is preferred. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas. Minimum of 4 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a charge nurse or leadership role. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
