Our client, the leader in luxury cruising, is seeking a highly detailed and customer-oriented Senior Financial Analyst, Business Integration to be an integral part of the company's Product Development department and, more specifically, the Private Destinations team.


The role will support broad-ranging integration initiatives to effectively assess business improvement opportunities and present insightful analytics influencing activities across the private destination portfolio.


The ideal candidate will be able to leverage his/her experience and analytical expertise to frame complex issues regarding trade-offs, risks, and benefits and indicate gaps, performance, and insights to assist in building recommendations and justifications for various large projects.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for Private Destinations to pursue.
  • Build financial models for value creation, change management, and portfolio expansion.
  • Work cross-functionally with private destinations, hotel operations, revenue management, onboard revenue, deployment strategy, product development, and brand/corporate finance to develop and consistently update reasonable assumptions based on performance benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with Finance to develop and submit capital requests to secure funding for product development projects.
  • Provide ad-hoc analyses (e.g., new venue profitability, new concept profitability, scope decision scenarios, etc.) to guide decision-making on the design of future products.
  • Collaborate with Product Development and Hotel Operations to develop P&L statements for new concepts and benchmark to existing spaces.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Advanced Word, PowerPoint, and Excel - Including intricate knowledge not only of advanced formulas (such as index-match), but also excel problem solving abilities to extract analysis and insights out of data dumps – required. Strong knowledge of the cruise industry is preferred.
  • Financial Modeling: Evaluating data and determining the optimal spending to accomplish company goals.
  • Analytical: Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and opportunities of alternative solutions and conclusions.
  • Demonstrate professional communication, collaboration, curiosity, persistence, empathy, and responsibility.
  • Complex Problem Solving: Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop options and implement solutions.
  • Presentation: Using computer skills and communication style to create, manipulate, edit, and communicate slide presentations. Understanding end-state and the best way to present a story in a logical and analytical fashion to achieve desired results.
  • Active Listening: Give full attention to what other people are communicating and take time to understand points being made.
  • Negotiating and Persuasion: Bringing others together to reconcile differences and persuade others to your point of view. Strong understanding of marketing principles to lead management on strategic initiatives and guide analysis.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's or equivalent required
  • 3-5 years related business analysis experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Candidate must possess strong written and oral communication skills and be able to work effectively with all levels of personnel. Strong PC skills are required.



This is an in-office position in downtown Miami.
