Oracle Cloud SCM Solution Architect – Manufacturing Reference: 17720 Start Date: Immediately Duration: 47 weeks Location: Remote, Northern California , USA Job Type: Contract Engagement Type: Implementation Description: We are seeking an experienced Oracle SCM Cloud – Manufacturing Solution Architect to join our client for a full-time contract engagement. This role will act as the senior solution architect for medium to large-scale projects, providing leadership across Oracle Cloud SCM functional areas. The consultant will lead design, configuration, and deployment of Manufacturing, Inventory, Costing, Order Management, and Planning solutions, while also engaging in client workshops, presales, and practice development activities. This position requires up to 50% travel to North Texas and Northern California for project milestones. The contract term is at least 9 months and is expected to extend to approximately 15 months. Candidates may reside anywhere in the United States. Minimum Years Experience: 8 Years Oracle ERP Implementation; Architect-level expertise in Oracle Cloud SCM 5 Key Skills Required: Proven expertise as a Solution Architect with hands‑on experience leading Oracle Cloud SCM implementations, including Manufacturing, Inventory, Costing, Planning, and Order Management. Strong ability to conduct workshops, gather requirements, and perform gap analysis with recommendations for best‑practice solutions. Deep understanding of manufacturing execution, production planning, scheduling, and supply chain metrics such as inventory levels, order fill rates, and lead times. Experience leading testing activities (unit, integration, and acceptance) and delivering client training and knowledge transfer. Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills, with the ability to operate both independently and within diverse project teams. 5 Areas of Responsibility: Serve as the solution architect across multiple Oracle Cloud SCM modules, ensuring design and implementation align with client requirements. Lead discovery sessions and workshops with business stakeholders to define requirements and present Oracle best practices. Oversee configuration, testing, and deployment activities, ensuring quality delivery and successful adoption of Oracle Cloud solutions. Support presales initiatives, practice development, and innovation within the Oracle Cloud SCM domain. Provide subject matter expertise, documentation, and training materials to support both the project team and client employees.
