The Lexington Medical Heart and Vascular Center is seeking a Cardiac Imager to join our group. Our team of 17 cardiologists provides general, interventional, structural and EP services. The Lexington Medical Heart and Vascular Center is a multidisciplinary group which includes cardiology, cardio-thoracic surgery, and vascular surgery. The center is employed as part of the Lexington Medical Center Network of Care. We are seeking a cardiac imager with level 2 or 3 training in Cardiac CT, and the candidate must be board eligible or board certified by CBCCT. Additionally, a candidate with a passion for cardiovascular imaging program development is preferred.

Lexington Medical Center is the first hospital in South Carolina to receive HeartCARE Center™ National Distinction of Excellence awarded by the American College of Cardiology. Our cardiologists lead an ACC Accredited Chest Pain Center of Excellence and were awarded the Gold Plus Performance Achievement Award from the American Heart Association. As the region’s premier heart program, Lexington Medical Heart and Vascular Center combines advanced medicine and state-of-the-art technology with compassionate care for patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Lexington Medical Center is a 607-bed hospital which anchors a health care network that includes six community medical centers and employs a staff of more than 7,800 health care professionals. The main campus is located in West Columbia, South Carolina, five miles west of the University of South Carolina and the state capital. The network has cardiovascular and oncology care affiliated with Duke Health, an occupational health center, the largest skilled nursing facility in the Carolinas, an Alzheimer’s care center, and more than 70 physician practices. In March of 2019, Lexington Medical Center opened the largest hospital expansion in South Carolina history which included a 10-floor patient care tower, adding inpatient beds, additional operation rooms, and a special care nursery.
