Responsibilities
- Thoroughly wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils to maintain kitchen cleanliness.
- Assist in keeping the kitchen sanitized by cleaning equipment, workstations, and dining areas.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
- Dispose of waste and recycle materials appropriately.
- Engage positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing outstanding customer service.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a food service or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Maintain a positive attitude and communicate well with residents, staff, and management.
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 30 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds; capable of standing, sitting, bending, and walking for long periods.
- ServSafe or Food Handler certification required per State/County law.
- Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
- Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
- Residency within the service area is required.
