Responsibilities

• Thoroughly wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils to maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Assist in keeping the kitchen sanitized by cleaning equipment, workstations, and dining areas.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
• Dispose of waste and recycle materials appropriately.
• Engage positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing outstanding customer service.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a food service or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate well with residents, staff, and management.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 30 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds; capable of standing, sitting, bending, and walking for long periods.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification required per State/County law.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
• Residency within the service area is required.
