The Senior FP&A Analyst role reports to the FP&A Director to develop and ensure quality execution of financial planning and analysis in a timely manner. The incumbent will model the company culture of hard work, positive attitude, integrity, and strong interpersonal skills.ResponsibilitiesTrack bookings data weekly, provide comprehensive bookings and pipeline updates to senior management by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting wins, losses or movementsLead monthly bookings forecast process with Client Partners and executives to gather and incorporate key data and assumptionsManage revenue forecast, revenue recognition, and understand sales timing & impact on revenuePrepare and review the Company’s financial statements (Actuals/Budget/Forecast) including cash flows, income statement, and balance sheet; perform variance analysis and footnotes; assist with monthly closing as neededSupport management in reviewing sector deliverables to ensure accuracy and publish internal reporting packages to stakeholders by required datesPerform ad-hoc reporting and in-depth reviews of financial statement accountsAssist with the annual budget process, including calendar and key financial templatesDevelop KPIs to track initiatives and incorporate into reporting packagesLead the financial forecasting process with department heads and executivesPrepare regular Board of Directors reports and presentations; support quarterly board meetings as neededDevelop dashboards and monthly/quarterly reporting in DatarailsCollaborate with Verista’s private equity partner, providing data and analyses as requested and act as a liaison to foster strong relationshipsServe as a backup to the FP&A Director to ensure business continuityOther duties as assignedRequirementsThis position requires the following skills and knowledge:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience requiredMinimum of 5 years of FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking experienceSkillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with expertise in financial modeling, pivot tables, and professional formattingAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPointIntermediate proficiency in financial statement analysis and basic corporate finance conceptsPrior experience in bookings forecast is preferredKnowledge of Salesforce, Datarails reports development, and Power BI is advantageousAbilitiesExcellent financial, communication, and interpersonal skills with strong personal motivationStrong quantitative and analytical capabilitiesStrong technical finance and accounting knowledgeAbility to adapt to a fast-growing organizationEffective time management and ability to manage multiple projectsCompensation & LocationFor US geography, the salary range for this position is shown below. The actual salary depends on factors such as professional background, experience, location, and market conditions.
