We believe everyone deserves a family if they want one, and our team is dedicated to guiding our patients on their unique journeys Role Summary The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will be a key strategic leader within Spring Fertility’s Finance organization, responsible for driving financial insight, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration across the business. Reporting directly to the VP, Finance & Controller, this leader will oversee budgeting, forecasting, performance analytics, and decision support to help guide the company through its next phase of growth. This role will work closely with Operations, Marketing, and People leaders to provide clear financial visibility, shape resource allocation decisions, and support strategic initiatives that expand access to care, improve efficiency, and strengthen the Spring experience for patients and employees alike. The ideal candidate combines deep financial acumen with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and a passion for scaling purpose-driven healthcare organizations. Key Responsibilities Strategic Financial Planning: Lead the annual budgeting and long-range planning processes, ensuring alignment with Spring’s mission, strategic priorities, and operational goals. Forecasting & Performance Management: Develop and maintain robust forecasting and KPI models that provide visibility into performance trends and actionable insights for leadership. Business Partnership: Partner with Operations leadership to optimize clinic performance, capacity utilization, and patient experience through data-driven analysis and financial insight. Collaborate with the Marketing team to evaluate campaign effectiveness, patient acquisition costs, and ROI on brand and growth initiatives. Work with the People team to support workforce planning, headcount forecasting, and compensation modeling that align with growth objectives. Decision Support & Insights: Translate complex financial and operational data into clear narratives and recommendations that inform executive decision-making and strategic planning. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to senior leaders across the business, connecting financial outcomes to operational drivers. Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A team that embodies Spring’s values of collaboration, curiosity, and continuous improvement. Process & Systems Improvement: Implement tools, systems, and best practices to enhance forecasting accuracy, scalability, and reporting efficiency. Board & Investor Reporting: Support monthly and quarterly reporting to investors and the Board, ensuring timely, accurate, and strategic presentations of financial performance. Education, Licenses, Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required. 8–10+ years of progressive FP&A, detailed corporate budget experience required. Proven success partnering cross-functionally in multi-site healthcare or service organizations required. MBA, CPA, or CFA designation preferred. Experience in private equity-backed or high-growth, multi-site healthcare organizations preferred. Corporate Development and Strategic Finance experience preferred. Experience with financial planning tools and BI platforms (e.g., Power BI) preferred. Employment Type This is a full-time exempt position that may require limited travel. Compensation The salary range for this role is $175,000–$220,000. Salary is based on several factors including job-related knowledge and skill set, depth of experience, certifications and/or degrees.
