Overview Shields Health Solutions is seeking a strategic, results-oriented Project Manager to join our fast-paced Emerging Technology team. This is a high-impact role for a proactive leader who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about driving innovation in healthcare technology. As Project Manager, you will lead the execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives – including the development of our AI Center of Excellence – to enhance operational efficiency, improve patient outcomes, and deliver measurable business value. You’ll bring an entrepreneurial mindset, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality project outcomes in a rapidly evolving tech landscape. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end project management for Emerging Technology initiatives – from initial concept through implementation and rollout. Facilitate and document scoping sessions with business stakeholders to translate ideas into actionable project plans. Coordinate seamless handoffs between product and development teams, ensuring alignment and maintaining delivery timelines. Present innovative solutions to internal and external stakeholders, including senior and executive leadership. Monitor project deliverables, timelines, and KPIs, including those related to AI performance metrics, to ensure consistent progress and stakeholder satisfaction. Identify new project opportunities, including those involving AI and automation, lead go/no-go assessments, and develop compelling proposals and presentations. Support the development and evolution of business plans and strategic road maps. Apply creative problem-solving and sound judgment to anticipate challenges and proactively resolve issues. Support the establishment and maintenance of project governance, policies, and control systems to ensure operational excellence and ethical AI practices. Provide clear and concise regular updates on project status, risks, and key decisions to leadership and cross-functional teams. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 3 years of experience in project management and/or business analysis – with exposure to AI technologies and data-driven projects a strong plus. Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical and executive audiences. Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and results-driven professional with a collaborative spirit. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Passion for AI/ML, automation, and other emerging technologies with a proactive approach to learning and experimentation. Education & Certifications Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification preferred. Additional coursework or certifications in AI, machine learning, or data science is a strong plus.
