Data Scientist

We are seeking a driven and analytical Junior Data Scientist with experience in Palantir Envision to support dashboard development and data analysis efforts for high-impact government projects. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, analytical thinking, and the ability to communicate data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.You will work closely with senior data scientists and government personnel to design interactive dashboards, analyze complex datasets, and support strategic decision-making across mission-critical initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Dashboard Development:Data Analysis:Stakeholder Collaboration:Communication:Continuous Improvement:• Dashboard Development: Design and develop interactive dashboards using Palantir Envision, tailored to the needs and requirements of government clients. Ensure clarity, usability, and functionality of visualizations.• Data Analysis: Perform deep-dive data analysis using Palantir Envision tools to uncover patterns, trends, and actionable insights in large, complex datasets.• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with senior data scientists, project leads, and government stakeholders to gather requirements, define metrics, and ensure that analytical outputs align with strategic objectives.• Communication: Translate complex analytical findings into clear visual narratives and presentations that can be easily understood by non-technical stakeholders.• Continuous Improvement: Recommend enhancements to data models, visualization strategies, and reporting mechanisms to improve effectiveness and impact.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Hands-on experience with Palantir Envision or a similar data visualization platform.Proven ability to design interactive dashboards and deliver data-driven insights.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Ability to communicate technical information clearly to diverse audiences.Experience working in collaborative environments with cross-functional teams.Secret clearance is requiredPreferred Qualifications:Experience supporting federal or defense-related clients.Familiarity with other analytical tools such as Python, SQL, Power BI or Tableau.Understanding of government data compliance and security standards.Salary range: $75K - $85K, depending on experienceMust have a current Secret clearanceOn-Site at Los Angeles AFB, El Segundo, CAARE WE THE ONE?OMNI Consulting Solutions is a boutique consulting firm specializing in creating game-changing value and simple solutions for complex demands.
