Responsibilities Develop detailed test strategies and processes to ensure coverage for performance and safety in traction‑based systems, collaborating with firmware, hardware, and project management teams. Design and implement test automation frameworks for continuous integration and testing pipelines. Oversee the design and execution of automated regression testing. Manage SIL and HIL test environments, playing a critical role in SW/HW integration. Manage and oversee the entire software release process, identifying fixes and resolutions before deployment. Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective actions. Drive QA metrics and process improvements. Report QA results, issues, and risks. Collaborate with cross‑functional groups to determine hardware testing needs and support testing and validation efforts. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance for embedded software/firmware, preferably with vertically integrated consumer products. Technical domain expertise in validating a mobile app ecosystem across vendor OS versions and device variants for functionality, reliability, compatibility, and UI/UX workflows. Experience with embedded systems and real‑time software testing, preferably in automotive/traction systems. Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and scripting for test automation. Experience with CI/CD automation workflows (e.g., Jenkins).  Familiarity with UDS or XCP protocols. Expertise in various protocols and their physical layers (I2C, SPI, CAN, CAN‑FD, USB‑PD, etc.). Knowledge of real‑time operating systems and functional‑safety critical applications. Experience with hardware/software architecture selection, balancing cost and performance trade‑offs. Passion for and demonstrated proficiency in working with cross‑functional hardware and software teams.
