Job Summary:

We are seeking a Data Science Exploration Analyst to support the Data Science Exploration Team. This role involves employing advanced data analytics, statistical modeling, and data visualization techniques to explore hidden patterns and relationships within the client's data. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of innovative analytics products that drive organizational improvements and business insights.

Responsibilities:

Develop rapid analysis scripts, visualization prototypes, interactive dashboards, and visioning session materials.
Prepare analysis reports, presentations, and project documentation.
Ensure deliverables meet the specified acceptance criteria, including appropriateness of analysis techniques and accuracy of documentation.
Develop mathematical optimization models and related source code/scripts.
Provide translational documentation to support analytical and visualization product development.
Present proposals and project results, ensuring they align with the business unit’s needs and can be utilized with minimal training.
Work closely with the client and supplier teams to explore and adopt new technologies and methodologies.
Operate within the AMG Enterprise Data Lake (EDL) environment, utilizing visualization and analytics tools.
Contribute to continuously improving the client's data analytics capabilities by applying innovative approaches in a phased, insight-driven model.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Experimental Psychology, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R (preferably both).
Experience in developing data visualizations and mathematical models.
Familiarity with Agile or Spiral development models.

Professional Experience:

Proven ability to work in diverse industries, demonstrating adaptability and quick learning in complex environments.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with data analysis and visualization in large-scale enterprise environments.
Familiarity with USPS or similar federal agency environments.
Previous experience working with Enterprise Data Lake (EDL) environments.
