We are currently looking for a Continuous Improvement Specialist - Industrial Quality Control near Duluth, GA at a fabrication company.

Responsibilities - Continuous Improvement Specialist - Industrial Quality Control:

Identify and resolve issues in product design, testing, and production
Ensure that products and manufacturing processes are meeting customer, industry, and governmental standards; plan and execute process and quality audits
Creation of quality documentation (PPAP, APQP, etc.)
Conduct visual inspection on manufactured parts for any defects using measurement tools - calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, etc.
Perform product testing to measure and record its quality and performance
Document inspection logs for record and create reports using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
After final inspection, make sure parts are well packaged for safe delivery to customers
Follow ISO, OSHA safety standards and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned



Qualification - Continuous Improvement Specialist - Industrial Quality Control:

Associates degree in industrial engineering and related field
At least 3+ years of quality control experience at manufacturing industry
Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoints)
Be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Good communication skills (Speaking/Writing/Reading)
While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit,stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands.This position is required to work in a manufacturing environment facility. When in the plant, the worker is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Hard hats, steel toe safety shoes, and safety glasses are required in all production areas.
