Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first The Director, FP&A, Long-Term Financial Planning oversees the organization's strategic and long-range goal planning function. They drive strategic initiatives and support the development of long-term growth plans and profitability goals. The Director, FP&A, Long-Term Financial Planning coordinates input from all major business units to facilitate the integration of individual business unit plans with the corporate plan. May conduct or facilitate periodic reviews of achievements and performance vs. strategic plans. Helps manage any divestitures. Decisions are typically related to the implementation of new/updated programs or large-scale projects for the function and supporting technical/operational procedures and processes, and implements strategic plans, drives goals and objectives, and improves performance. Provides input into function’s strategy, as well as adhoc scenario analysis using key business drivers or available levers to help make business decisions. Key Responsibilities Develop and implementing process, tools, and resources to deliver a long-term financial plan to the Enterprise Implement, in coordination with our strategic planning, a detailed, collaborative, and durable process with our Executive Leadership Team(s) to ensure key drivers of our business have a clear and actionable plan to deliver shareholder value Implement cadences for reviewing progress against our near- and long-term business goals to identify opportunities to accelerate investment and/or areas where we are off track. Coordinating and managing the planning process, setting timetables, and ensuring deadlines are met. Utilize key FP&A technologies (i.e. Anaplan) to develop contemporary enterprise planning models and ensure integrity of the planning process will democratizing data access to business and finance teams Identifying and analyzing business trends, market conditions, and competitor data to inform planning decisions on key drivers of our carious business units Engaging with stakeholders, including senior management to understand their needs and expectations Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, sales or a related field 5+ Years as a Strategy/Planning Director or similar role Knowledge of general financial and accounting principals Highly experienced in building and evaluating financial models Strong understanding of business operations and procedures Excellent leadership and project management skills Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen ability to delivery messages at various levels of the organization. Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field Ability to influence and build relationships with people across all levels and organizations internally and externally Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint applications. Strong work ethic, detail orientation and passion for excellence Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree CFA Healthcare industry For long-term planning and FP&A, consider cloud-based platforms like Anaplan Location This position is based in Humana’s office in Washington D.C., Louisville, or New York, although remote candidates may be considered as well. The team follows a hybrid model, working together in the office 3 days per week. Travel will average 20% annually between office hubs nationwide. Travel Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required. Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $184,800 - $254,100 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
