Travel to field sites and collect root samples from diverse corn germplasm. Conduct DNA extraction, quantification, and DNA amplification Bioinformatics: Aid in the detection and analysis of target gene variants across corn germplasm. Evaluate microbial colonization in plant roots Qualifications BS with 4 years' experience or MS with 1 year in plant physiology, beneficial plant-microbe interactions, soil microbiology, and/or molecular biology.
