Youth Director Jefferson UMC in Baton Rouge is seeking a part‑time Youth Director to develop an effective youth ministry. Responsibilities include: Managing all ministries and programming for youth in grades 6‑12. Organizing and facilitating Sunday morning learning opportunities for youth. Developing and facilitating engaging, effective youth group programming. Engaging in outreach to youth in our community. Qualifications Strong commitment to the faith and leads by example. Demonstrated ability to grow a youth program. Ability to take initiative. Adept in using social media as a communication and outreach tool. Team player who works well with others. Excellent written and personal communication skills. United Methodist preferred. Must pass a criminal background check. Must be age 23 or older. Compensation This is a ¼‑time position (10 hours per week) with an annual salary of $12,000. Health insurance is not provided.
