OverviewInsight Global is looking for a Manager of Procurement for one of our large commercial airline clients to sit in Charlotte, NC. This person will act as the primary leader for procurement operations, supporting the entire Airlines organization with a strong focus on the Maintenance Organization.This role will be primarily responsible for managing procurement of aircraft parts, tooling, GSE, and training materials. Leading a team of Procurement Analysts and AOG Expeditors, driving vendor management, RFP/RFQ processes, and KPI development.They will be primarily collaborating with Supply Chain, Inventory Planning, and Repair teams. Maintaining vendor relationships and ensuring customer service excellence. Working in a high‑stress, fast‑paced environment. Communication is key with internal teams (maintenance, stores, planning) and external vendors to ensure on‑time aircraft departures.Salary Range$105,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yrWork ScheduleMonday-Friday On SiteRequired Skills and Experience2–3 years aviation experience, preferably supervisory.Experience managing technical teams (Procurement Analysts, AOG Expeditors).Proven ability to manage multiple vendors, contracts, and procurement processes.Strong operational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and operational expenses.Contract development and negotiation experience.Leadership of multi-disciplinary teams and cross‑functional collaboration.Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.Nice to Have Skills and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Aviation Management, Engineering, or related field.Experience with ERP systems.Long‑term procurement planning (3–5 years).Seniority LevelMid‑Senior levelEmployment TypeFull-timeJob FunctionProject Management, Supply Chain, and ManagementIndustriesStaffing and Recruiting #J-18808-Ljbffr
