The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be part of a professional, friendly, and fun‑loving team that prioritizes its corporate culture focused on four foundational core values: Put Integrity First Think “We” not “Me” Execute Flawlessly Summary The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for driving the financial health and long‑term growth of the organization. The CFO will oversee financial operations across DecisivEdge, CorVant, and 5thPort, ensuring strong governance, compliance, and fiscal discipline across multiple geographies including United States, India, and Canada. This role requires expertise in financial planning, cross‑border accounting and transfer pricing, along with strong technological skills to streamline finance processes through digital tools. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with small to mid‑size companies, demonstrating the ability to balance strategic leadership with hands‑on financial management in dynamic, growth‑oriented environments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Strategic Financial Leadership Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy aligned with overall business goals and multi‑entity growth objectives. Advise the CEO and Board of Directors on financial performance, business risks, and global opportunities. Provide financial leadership for expansion, mergers, and acquisitions initiatives. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term financial planning across DecisivEdge, CorVant, and 5thPort entities. Monitor revenue planning, consolidated financial performance, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions. Provide financial models and insights to support strategic decision‑making and operational efficiency. Accounting & Compliance Oversee accounting operations, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, general ledger, and month‑end closing processes. Ensure compliance with Indian, Canadian, and U.S. accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS). Manage audits, tax filings, and statutory reporting for all entities, including transfer pricing documentation and related‑party compliance. Implement and enforce internal controls and financial policies. Treasury & Cash Flow Management Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and capital structure across regions. Optimize working capital and liquidity while ensuring effective treasury management. Oversee investments and ensure prudent financial risk management. Technology & Process Optimization Leverage Zoho Books, QuickBooks, PV (internal tool) and other finance systems for automation, integration, and reporting efficiency. Evaluate and implement technology‑driven financial tools to improve accuracy, scalability, and data visibility. Identify, assess, and mitigate financial, compliance, and operational risks. Ensure appropriate insurance coverage and continuity planning across entities. Lead and mentor the finance team, including direct oversight of AP/AR functions. Build a high‑performing, collaborative, and accountable finance organization across United States, India and Canada. Foster a culture of transparency, continuous improvement, and professional growth. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA/CA preferred. 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a CFO or senior finance leadership role in a small‑to‑mid‑market company. Strong knowledge of corporate financial law, accounting standards, and best practices. Proficiency with Zoho Books, QuickBooks, and other ERP/accounting platforms. Proven track record in monitoring revenue planning, financial planning, analysis, and risk management. Experience in mergers & acquisitions, and Transfer Pricing. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Travel Travel to client locations is primarily local during the business day, although some occasional out‑of‑the‑area/overnight travel may be expected.
