You will own the end-to-end performance strategy across the Member lifecycle—from acquisition and activation through long-term retention. This role combines analytical rigor, strategic vision, and operational execution to unlock growth and deliver measurable impact across CLEAR’s Membership base.In this role, you will operate at 10,000 feet as well as 100 feet - working with our Member Insights team to develop a strategy for performance improvement and then driving strategy into an action plan all the way through to execution. You are someone who both likes to think about big, interesting problems and how we can solve them strategically and to have hands-on, tangible impact on business results.What you'll do:Segment and assess key member cohorts using quantitative and qualitative insights; shape tailored strategies to improve conversion and retention across these segmentsServe as the strategic architect for CLEAR’s Member lifecycle, identifying performance opportunities and defining the roadmap to improve acquisition, conversion, engagement, and retentionDevelop a hypothesis-driven testing agenda to pilot new growth and retention strategies, balancing speed and rigorLead cross-functional execution of strategic initiatives from design through implementation, ensuring accountability, agility, and scalabilityPartner with our Member Insights team to dive into the data on the behavior of CLEAR’s Members, helping us understand how to improve performance with a data-driven approachArchitect reporting across Member segments to help leadership understand performanceOwn investigating and diagnosing issues in day-to-day Member segment performanceOwn Member Retention performance and strategic roadmap while building a team to support the performance of other key member cohortsHow you'll measure success:A clear, actionable, and data-informed strategic plan for Member growth and retentionTangible wins delivered through high-impact pilots and scaled initiativesElevated understanding of Member performance across the organizationDeep cross-functional trust and influence as a strategic thought partnerWhat you're great at:10+ years of experience in Strategy, Growth, or Business Operations, ideally within consumer tech, travel, financial services, or subscription businessesPrior experience in Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, or a Strategy & Ops function is highly preferredDeep analytical fluency; able to structure complex problems, analyze data, and drive insight-based decision-makingProven track record of turning strategy into execution with measurable business impactExcellent cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skillsComfortable navigating ambiguity, making decisions with incomplete data, and iterating as neededA collaborative, low-ego team leader who thrives in a mission-driven environmentAt CLEAR, we help YOU move forward - because when you’re at your best, we’re at our best.
