Base pay range $75.00/hr - $85.00/hr Must be able to work on-site. Does not offer work authorization sponsorships or Visas. No corp-to-corp. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field Minimum of 5+ years of experience in security-focused role, preferably in automotive, robotics, or safety‑critical industry Extensive experience in embedded security engineering with strong focus on secure boot, trusted execution, and hardware security Hands‑on experience with Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) or Trusted Platform Modules (TPMs) including integration in embedded systems Proficiency in developing secure communication protocols (e.g., TLS, DTLS) and implementation on embedded devices Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and security standards relevant to automotive or robotics industry (ISO/SAE 21434, WP.29/UN R155) Experience with hardware debugging tools (JTAG/SWD debuggers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers) Prior experience with FPGAs, particularly Xilinx platforms and development tools Knowledge of cryptography including symmetric and asymmetric encryption, hashing, and digital signatures Experience with embedded Linux or RTOS environments and security hardening Responsibilities Implement and enhance security features in Lidar firmware, focusing on robust chain of trust Integrate and manage hardware security components to protect cryptographic assets and sensitive operations Establish and secure communication channels between Lidar system and other modules, ensuring data authenticity and integrity Collaborate with firmware, hardware, and systems teams to ensure security requirements are integrated throughout product development lifecycle Apply automotive security standards and practices to sensor systems and embedded platforms Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level Employment Type Contract Job Function Motor Vehicle Manufacturing and Aviation and Aerospace Component Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
