We want your knowledge and expertiseJob Summary And QualificationsAs an Endoscopy Tech, under the direction of a GI/Endoscopy Nurse, you will contribute to the company’s mission and vision by assisting with the care of patients undergoing GI/Endoscopy procedures.What you will do in this role:You will cover two Saturdays a monthMaintain a sanitary environment for your patientYou will demonstrate knowledge of high disinfection and sterilization of endoscopy equipmentYou will prepare the endoscopy unit adequately and ensure availability of necessary GI equipment and suppliesYou will clean GI treatment rooms between procedures and prepare rooms for the next caseYou will assist in the maintenance, care and labeling of specimensYou will identify specimen with the surgeon and pass to the circulating RNQualifications you will need:Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program preferredOne-year acute care experience, preferably in an ambulatory surgery centerValid BCLS Certification upon employment***online certification not acceptableComprehensive Digestive Surgery Center is located in Las Vegas, Nevada. We are a freestanding ambulatory surgery center specializing in gastrointestinal endoscopy. We offer state of the art video equipment and the newest technologies in our three procedure rooms. The center performs around 600 cases a month. Our specialties include gastroenterology, hepatology and endoscopy.
