About the team We are seeking an experienced Direct Tax Manager for a long term temporary assignment to oversee corporate income tax provisioning and compliance management. This is an exciting opportunity to help build and develop the tax function for Angi after its spin‑off. The role will be involved in all different aspects of Angi’s income tax landscape. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of public tech company tax complexities, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and can scale tax processes to support business growth and evolving regulations. This position will be remote and require candidates to work up to 40 hours per week. The hourly rate for this role ranges from US$60.00 – US$70.00 per hour. What you’ll do Quarterly preparation of the corporate income tax provision under ASC 740 including: Calculating the tax provision under ASC 740 Gathering inputs from accounting and finance stakeholders Assisting with questions from external auditors Preparation of management reporting summaries Preparation of the SEC disclosures US Tax compliance management Working with third‑party service providers to facilitate the US income tax returns Gathering PBC requests for third‑party preparers Reviewing tax returns prepared by third‑party Reviewing and managing quarterly estimated tax payments Cash tax forecasting Research new income tax laws applicable to Angi Review foreign income tax returns for return‑to‑provision adjustments Ad hoc income tax related projects Who you are Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA or Masters Degree in Accounting / Tax strongly preferred 5+ years of work experience in corporate income tax accounting, including within a public tech company (required) and Big 4 consulting/accounting firm (preferred) Strong technical expertise in ASC 740 tax provision process Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle), financial close management and automation software (e.g. Backline), and tax compliance tools (e.g., OneSource, CorpTax) Corptax experience highly preferred Familiarity with multinational consolidations and review of foreign subsidiary tax filings for return‑to‑provision adjustments Proficient in Excel/Microsoft Office, including VLookup We know that the best ideas come from teams where diverse points of view uncover new solutions to hard problems.
