Transition programs available, such as the Adult to Pediatric Respiratory Therapy Fellowship. Salary Range: $31.55/hr. to $47.31/hr. Schedules: Full-time and part-time options. Shift preferences to be indicated during application. Relocation assistance available for those moving 100 miles or more. Qualifications Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy/Care required; Bachelors preferred. Minimum 1 year of respiratory care experience. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC. BLS certification from AHA. PALS within 90 days of hire; ACLS within 90 days if working in specific units. Preferred: NBRC credential as Neonatal/Pediatric Respiratory Care Specialist (RRT-NPS) or RPFT if working in ambulatory settings. Colorado DORA Respiratory Therapist license. Job Highlights Assess and evaluate patient care, providing culturally sensitive, evidence-based care. Perform diagnostics like Pulmonary Function Testing and bronchoprovocation in ambulatory settings. Model and coach patient and family care needs. Identify and remove barriers to promote communication and advocacy. Collaborate with the care team for individualized patient education and care. Participate in safety and quality improvement projects.
