Maintenance Technician

Salary/Shift:
• $22.00 + (based on experience) 
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm, Monday through Friday
• Must be able to train on 1st shift, 6am to 3pm, Monday through Friday

What’s a typical day as a Maintenance Tech? You’ll be:
• Completing Preventive Maintenance within scheduled time
• Cleaning machines and adjusting equipment
• Performing routine scheduled maintenance on production equipment
• Lubricating and conducting general preventive maintenance as needed
• Communicating with supervisor on maintenance status and time required for equipment to be returned to production
• Recording and maintaining records on equipment repairs and replacement parts
• Participating in set up reduction efforts and completing changeovers and/or machine set up as needed
• Replacing safety guards prior to returning the machine to the operator
• Operating a forklift when needed
• Utilizing hand tools, power tools, machine shop tools and equipment, pallet jacks, and other automated equipment

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have experience in completing Preventive Maintenance within scheduled time
• Are skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, machine shop tools and equipment, pallet jacks, and other automated equipment
• Are able to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
• Have a strong attention to detail and can maintain accurate records
• Are able to participate in set up reduction efforts and complete changeovers and/or machine set up as needed
• Have a High School Diploma or GED
