Windows Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Windows Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities: Provide System Design – the process of defining and documenting the hardware, software, infrastructure components, modules, interfaces, scalability, and high availability solutions that meet specified business development and Application Integration requirements
Provide 3rd Level Support – incident troubleshooting, analysis and resolution for web applications day-to-day administration includes installation, testing, tuning, upgrading and loading patches, troubleshooting server problems
Install home grown and vendor software, document the steps and promote to upstream teams for deployment
Support issues with deployments in the upstream environments


Requirements: 7+ years of strong experience in Windows Operating System, IIS and .NET application integration or Linux with Websphere, Tomcat
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, Firewall, Local and Global load balancing expertise in application integration
Able to troubleshoot application integration issues in Windows and cross platform environment
Ability to troubleshoot application integration issues in Linux and Windows environment
Experience working in Agile Model/Work Space
Knowledge of CICD tools
Linux


Desired Skills: Experience administering Tomcat, Websphere application servers
Hands on experience with F5 devices like Global Traffic Manager and Local Traffic Manager
