Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development, design, and implementation of multi-station cold forming tooling. From collaborating with operators on the production floor to utilizing cutting-edge simulation software, this position offers a blend of hands-on work and technical innovation.


Mechanical Engineer Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed multi-station cold forming tooling.
  • Design and implement developed tooling, ensuring adherence to company standards.
  • Collaborate closely with operators on the production floor, providing hands-on support and guidance.
  • Evaluate rough draft designs and decipher all specifications accurately.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art simulation software to optimize tooling designs.
  • Prepare drawings according to company standards and terms.
  • Maintain drawings to improve department efficiencies.
  • Work on projects or assignments in a team environment, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Modify and revise designs to address operating deficiencies or production issues.
  • Prioritize workload to meet established timelines.
  • Maintain the production job board and oversee daily receiving and inspection of incoming tooling.


Mechanical Engineer Skills and Specifications:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, 2D, SolidWorks, and Simufact.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Highly innovative and creative mindset.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Exceptional listening and communication skills.
  • Cold Forming


Mechanical Engineer Education and Qualifications:

Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Cold heading/forming experience.
