Job description

Sales Support Specialist PDF Supply Company, LLC. is a global supplier of automation equipment. We are looking for a reliable, customer-focused individual to join our sales team. The sales support specialist position based in our Raleigh, NC office will be focused on increasing revenue and improving customer experience through quoting customers, answering inbound phone calls, inputting sales orders, and helping to resolve any customer issues that arise in a professional and timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Quote customers through phone conversations and email correspondence. Generate and oversee sales orders.

  • Collaborate with sales team & management to address customer inquiries. Input customer information and complete vendor documentation.

  • Communicate with the sales, purchasing & warehouse teams to coordinate the prompt shipment of orders.


Requirements

  • Must have a high level of computer proficiency.

  • Must have experience in either sales or customer service.

  • Must be comfortable in a role where success is determined through key performance indicator (KPI) metrics; performance will be measured based on effectiveness in performance metrics in addition to correctness in following instructions.

  • Must be confident with learning information technology systems with reasonably minimal training and oversight, and resourcefully leveraging those systems to thoroughly understand the company's business activities and processes.

  • Must be proficient in the following skills: communication, critical thinking, attention to detail.

  • Must possess the following qualities: honesty, integrity & dependability.


Education

  • Minimum requirement of a four-year degree at an accredited university, or alternatively, a strict requirement of a high-school diploma with four years of professional experience in a corporate environment in a capacity such as inside sales, customer support, or purchasing.

Schedule and Location

  • Location: Full on-site at office in Raleigh, NC

  • Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with a flexible one-hour lunch break, Monday - Friday.

  • Transportation: Must be able to confirm and commit to reliable transportation to the office and consistent attendance during all scheduled working days and hours; remote work will not be offered as an exception to attendance.


Compensation

  • $22.00-$25.00 / HR
