An additional 4 years’ experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree.The ability to read and interpret specifications, schematics and block diagramsMix of hardware and software skillsExperience in text-based programming (e.g. C /C++)Background and working knowledge in RF, digital or power theory and conceptsExperience with test & measurement equipmentAbility to obtain and maintain a Secret ClearanceBasic Qualifications Staff Electronics Engineer:Bachelors degree in STEM with 12 years’ experience, Masters degree in STEM with 10 years’ experience, Ph.D. degree in STEM with 0 years’ experience. An additional 4 years’ experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree.The ability to read and interpret specifications, schematics and block diagramsMix of hardware and software skillsExperience in text-based programming (e.g. C /C++)Background and working knowledge in RF, digital or power theory and conceptsExperience with test & measurement equipmentAbility to obtain and maintain a Secret ClearancePreferred Qualifications:Advanced degree in Engineering or related STEM disciplineTest design and integration backgroundAbility to work with minimal direction and guidanceExperience with LabWindows CVI, C / C++ programmingTestStand programmingExperience with schematic design tools (e.g. Mentor Graphics, Zuken, etc.)Proficiency with digital, analog, RF test equipment, RF theory and high-speed digital designFamiliarity with differential digital interfaces like LVDS - PXI/PXIe and VME bus experienceHands-on troubleshooting of electrical hardwareActive Secret clearance and SAPThis position is contingent upon the ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret Clearance.Salary Range: $131,100 - $196,700Salary Range 2: $163,200 - $244,800The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
