Locum Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician Needed for Clinic and Call Coverage Job Description: We are currently seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician for locum tenens coverage in Iowa. This opportunity involves providing both clinic and call coverage. The assignment begins on November 20, 2023, at 8 am and ends on November 27, 2023, at 8 am. There will also be additional dates needed on a monthly basis, as the site connects with their internal providers for the full 2024 calendar. This is an ongoing locum opportunity. Assignment Details: Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Provider Title: MD Provider Type: Physician Request Type: Locum Tenens Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call Practice Settings: Outpatient Inpatient Requirements: Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology Active and unrestricted Iowa license or IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) Specialty Skills Required: Low risk pregnancy High risk pregnancy FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE OB Ultrasounds - Performance of, interpretation Level I/Screening (viability) Level II/Targeted (anatomic) Amniocentesis Routine delivery - Vaginal, Low forceps, Decision-making for c-section, Complicated delivery, C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions, VBAC's, Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations Office/minor gynecology - IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc. Surgical gynecology - Open, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation, Operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's Laser certification Call Details: Call Type: Beeper Call Response Time Required: 15 minutes Location: This opportunity is located near Victor, Iowa.
